Memorial Day 2011

I wanted to send a card to a friend I know who has served their country many times.  This digi is from Tracey Malnofski and the background papers from JLJ Designs. The background punch is from MS and of course colored in copics.  My heartfelt thanks goes out to all the military and their families for thier service to our country.

Julie & Julia

This cutie is from Mo's digital. I fell in love the moment I saw her and knew she would turn out fantastic.  I found the wallpaper on line and the floor is a picture from google images.  I absolutely love this card and I think I am going to frame it and keep it here at the house. Everything about this card pulled together for me. I believe this is the best that I have done so far and I am so excited to have completed her.

Little Boys

I made this card for a challenge over at Simply Scrappin Crafts. A card for a purpose, well this one could be for a birthday, Hello, Thank You, Feel Better.  I have a tendency to leave off any kind of saying on my cards until I actually use them.  I feel it gives me more options. Thanks for stopping by.

This digi is from Wee Stamps and the background papers are all digi from Bearly Mine.  The ribbon is from my stash and of course the card is colored with copics.

Flowers and Polka Dots

I made this card for a challenge over at the Latte Lounge. The color is actually more orangey than what is shown, but at this point I am so glad to just get a picture on the blog.  9:00 pm and am rushing to the store to get any kind of card reader that will take my ancient of days camera card.  Rushed back home, quick take pictures, upload, post and whew.  Hope you do enjoy my learning creations.

IASC First Ever Blog Hop

It's our first blog hop here at In A Scrap Creations. We are very excited about it because it's not just for our regular release but we're also doing a OWH preview. OWH stands for Operation Write Home. The design team has created cards for the troops to use to send back to their families when they are deployed. These will be sent to OWH to be distributed to the troops abroad.

There are specific guidelines you need to follow if you want to join us in making cards for the troops.  You will find them here
We'd love it if you created our own card and/or cards to ship to OWH. If you do, please post it on your blog and link it in the comment section of the post on the IASC blog
Also, we are doing our IASC release. This month is "Silly Owls"...the set is $3 and you get 6 images (that's only 50 cents each)...these are pre-coloured and ready to use for your quick card needs. You will find them listed here

 (Inside)

School is ending in a month or so and you'll need those grad cards for your graduating students, whether it's from JK or High School or Post-secondary education...check out what the rest of the design team has created.
Hop through the list and comment on each blog.

You will be entered into the random draw for the Silly Owls set.
Thanks for hopping!

Princess Ariela

This cutey was made for my friend for her daughter's Birthday as well.  I've been told that she is going to have the best birthday ever with manicures and pedicures and whatever else little diva's do :0)

Life is slowly getting back to normalcy with only a few hitches here and there. Nothing that can not be worked out.  I had a wonderful surprise yesterday....found out that I had won a 7 Kids College Fund gift card from a challenge that I had entered in quite some time ago.

Have a wonderful week an don't forget to stop and smile, laugh a little and breathe.

Digi is from Mo's Digital Pencil, colored by copics, papers from my stash of SU, as well as the brads. The crown brad is from Michael's and Silver Stickles for her bling!
